Booking Process:
Step 1 – Upon receiving your inquiry, we will provide an estimated cost for the trip based on any
modifications to the proposed itinerary.
Step 2 – Once you approve the estimated cost and route, we require a nominal adjustable deposit of
Rs. 1000 per person before providing the exact cost (which will be within 5% of the estimate).
Step 3 – To confirm the homestays, an advance payment of 50% of the total amount (including
taxes) is required when booking.
Step 4 – The remaining balance must be paid 2 weeks before departure.
Step 5 – After receiving the final payment, we will share a detailed itinerary, including all
experiences, both included and recommended.
Cancellation Policy:
On arrival in Bagdogra, you will be picked up by our driver, and commence your journey to Kalimpong. It is important to know that the road conditions in the hills are not very friendly so it is best to break the journey in Kalimpong on your way to Gangtok. Enjoy an evening with the view of the Kanchenjunga range (on clear evenings).
The drive after bypassing Gangtok gets both very scenic and peaceful, leaving the crowds of Gangtok behind, with the conifer and the fern trees lining up the road with small monasteries. Our homestay here is in the historic village of Kabi and the family would be more than happy to guide you around during your stay here.
Spend an entire day away from the crowds, visiting local villages and monasteries and taking a nature walk in the evening. Enjoy a traditional North Sikkim dinner cooked by your hosts.
After a relaxed breakfast, set off for West Sikkim, heading to the town of Pelling. Your stay, overlooking the stunning Kanchenjunga range, managed by Naresh and his skilled team. In the evening, unwind with a drink in the cozy restaurant.
Explore the town and indulge in some local lunch on your stroll. Later in the evening enjoy a leisurely hike in the vicinity.
From one mountain ridge to another, our journey today will take us back to the hills of Bengal, and to Takdah, called the land of fog in the local Lepcha language. Kaleege House would be your last homestay on this trip so make the most of the Hospitality extended by your caring hosts.
There are multiple activities you can enjoy in and around the property. An early morning forest trail is best to enjoy the view and take in nature. A peaceful Dinner and unwind.
After breakfast, check out and head to Bagdogra airport to board your flight home.
