Founder
Born into a family where travel has been a way of life, Mayur Bhat has gone from wanting to be a lyricist to a chef and finally coming back home to join Anubhav Holidays in 2002. A wanderer at heart, he is committed to the vision of promoting travel through local cultural experiences. After pioneering the cause of countryside-based travel abroad, he turned his focus to India, to showcase the regions of the incredible country. Mayur is constantly on the lookout for like-minded people who share the same value system in travel.

Content Consultant
Aastha bridges the gap between raw inspiration and polished narrative. As a Creative Consultant and Writer, she specializes in crafting the voice of Raahghar and Anubhav, turning complex ideas into engaging, relatable content. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling, Aastha ensures that every project resonates with its audience and stays true to the brand’s creative vision.

IT Support
Shubham has been the technical backbone of the company for three years. He handles all the IT and mechanical work, essentially making sure everything runs exactly as it should. Off the clock, he’s usually traveling, lost in a good novel, or tracking down the best local food.

Sowmya turns raw data into streamlined success. She handles the essential task of compiling information and managing the transition for new partners, ensuring that the foundation of every project is solid and organized. In just a few lines of data, Sowmya creates the clarity needed for the entire team to move forward

Madhura is a traveler at heart who finds joy in meeting new people and hearing the stories that shape them. For her, every journey is an opportunity to see life through a different lens and understand the rich diversity of global cultures. At Raahghar, she brings this love for exploration and new experiences into everything she does, ensuring our work is always grounded in a deep appreciation for human connection and perspective

Relationship Manager
She grew up in Kodaikanal and Chennai. Meenu spent 20 years managing Sinna Dorai’s Bungalow properties in Valparai and Gudalur. A master of hospitality, known for creating warm, memorable stays and overseeing every detail of property management. When she isn’t hosting, she’s out exploring new places and soaking up different cultures.
Finance Manager
To Jyoti Kundaje, travel is about exploring new cultures, meeting new people, and gaining new experiences. It's a great way for her to learn about herself and gain new perspectives on life. It also acts as a stress buster for her. Jyoti handles all the finance-related responsibilities at Raahghar within the internal team as well as with our homestay collective.
