Founder
Born into a family where travel has been a way of life, Mayur Bhat has gone from wanting to be a lyricist to a chef and finally coming back home to join Anubhav Holidays in 2002. A wanderer at heart, he is committed to the vision of promoting travel through local cultural experiences. After pioneering the cause of countryside-based travel abroad, he turned his focus to India, to showcase the regions of the incredible country. Mayur is constantly on the lookout for like-minded people who share the same value system in travel.
Relationship Manager
Travelling means more than just reaching a destination for Meenu Nair. It's about the journey and the people she meets along the way. She has learned a lot from the people and places encountered while travelling, and they have often made her feel at home. It is this passion that she wants to share with others through Raahghar. She leads all communication with the homestays of South India and focuses on building new relations.
Finance Manager
To Jyoti Kundaje, travel is about exploring new cultures, meeting new people, and gaining new experiences. It's a great way for her to learn about herself and gain new perspectives on life. It also acts as a stress buster for her. Jyoti handles all the finance-related responsibilities at Raahghar within the internal team as well as with our homestay collective.
Operations & Team Manager
Namrata Gohain considers every place she travels to as a classroom for cultural learning and believes in preserving regional ways of life for the well-being of both people and the ecosystem of a place. She firmly believes that mindful travel is beneficial for both authentic experiences and for local communities striving for responsible tourism practices. Namrata is inclined to promote the idea that journeys can make a positive impact. She handles the daily task flow of the Raahghar team and manages the overall operational and brand-building activities.
Operations & Logistics
Journeying enables Tanya Bhalekar to delve deeper into self-discovery, aiding in a more profound understanding of her own identity. It helps her see the world differently and connect with different individuals, broadening her perspective and making her feel the most alive. Tanya handles multiple operational tasks at Raahghar from booking-related communication to managing the website and designing itineraries.
