Capella

Tropical Warmth In North Goa

Parra, Goa
Capella

Story

Before building on that Parra hillside in 2006, Ayesha your host set out to create a place where the forest felt like an extended living room, anchoring her Parsi-Goan roots to the quiet rhythm of the trees. Built tropical-style with an open courtyard, sweeping terraces, and airy verandas, the house was meant to be a quiet home, but its magnetic charm quickly turned it into an abode for friends, family, and eventually, travelers when it officially opened in 2012. Today, Ayesha shares this hilltop haven alongside her warm team, Gita, Seema, and Chand, and a lively crew of pets (Muffin, Simba, and Echo), creating a hospitality experience that feels entirely organic and deeply personal.
Stepping into Capella means trading the rush of Goa's coast for the gentle sway of the forest canopy. Mornings begin on the veranda with Gita’s legendary Parsi-style Akuri, setting an unhurried tempo for days spent lounging by the infinity pool, lost in a book, or swapping local dining tips with Ayesha. The estate is designed to let the outdoors in, whether you are taking in a late-afternoon tea as the light shifts through the leaves or watching the sun drop below the trees to a soundtrack of bird calls. It is a home that seamlessly connects space, soul, and flavor, leaving you with a rare sense of total ease.
