Villa Urvinkhan is a luxury hideaway nestled in a working coffee plantation in Chikmagalur. This was one of the first plantations in the area, and the Urvinkhan family who runs this small hotel/luxury homestay have their roots going back to the early 1800s. The owners Sunil and Shwetha conceptualized the design and built the property themselves and their personal touch is evident throughout the property, from artifacts to an automobile collection. The villas and suites scattered around the estate amongst the greenery are designed to offer the perfect balance of comfort and luxury - outdoor showers, fireplaces, and private gardens. The second generation of their son Siddhant, his wife along with Sanjana the daughter now takes care of the day-to-day affairs. A trained international chef Siddhant would be happy to craft a menu with global cuisine and a touch of local flavors.

Nestled on the verdant slopes of Chikmagalur, Villa Urvinkhan offers a range of accommodations to suit all tastes. There are 4 types of villas and suites, where the villas are a mix of stand-alone and joint units and the suites are spread over the property. Each unit has its own distinctive character with bespoke furnishings, hand-carved embellishments, and personal touches to enhance the overall quality of stay.

Raahghar Payment Terms: Reservation is confirmed with an advance payment of 50% of the total amount at the time of booking. The balance payment is to be made 7 days prior to check-in.
Cancellation Policy (Indian Passport Holders Only):
In case of a cancellation due to any unforeseen circumstance a credit note will be issued by the property to the guest for the amount paid till date.
The credit note will be valid for use within one year from the period of booking. The guest can redeem the credit note against the amount of any future booking within a year and pay the balance if any as per the rates applicable on that date. This credit note is also transferable and can be used by the guest/transferee only once within the stipulated date.

The Urvinkhan Plantations start from the main highway and stretch over an area of 4 sq kilometres. The road from the highway to the gates of Urvin Khan goes through some rough patches with no cell phone range. Please inform before you arrive.
Siddhant and his wife are both from the hospitality background and are qualified chefs. Villa Urvinkhan arranges 5 - 7 course handcrafted menus for its guests on advance notice. The menu is generally a fusion of local and international cuisine.
The property is lined up with solar panels for clean energy. The workers from the coffee plantations have graduated to work on the property. The entire team at Villa Urvinkhan is local.
The coffee brand - Brave Man Coffee is grown at Urvinkhan Estate.
We support local community through our Farm to Table approach where ingredients are sourced from local farmers, ensuring the freshest and finest produce that is used in the dishes here.
